Algunas reflexiones sobre el feminismo de compensación de Carlos Vaz Ferreira.

Abstract

The goal of this article is to “re-visit” some ideas on women and maternity on the book
“The feminism of compensation” from the Uruguayan philosopher Carlos Vaz Ferreira;
thus highlighting his importance on the 900 Uruguayan 900 and his conceptions were
and will be circulation among various moments in feminism. Some of Vaz Ferreira’s
ideas must be understood within his context and his most original ideas is to have
anticipated subject matters such as Anglo-Saxon materialists’ in the 80’s and 90’s last
century. This article is the first version of a works where I propose to study a dialogue
between Carlos Vaz Ferreira and various feminist movements.
