Abstract

This text explores the world of Āyurveda, the ancient traditional medicine of India, and its growing adoption in Mexico as an alternative medicine. Āyurveda is based on a holistic philosophy that seeks to balance the body, mind, and spirit, aiming for an integrated approach to health and well-being. The history and fundamental principles of āyurveda are analyzed, along with its therapeutic techniques and presence in Mexico. The text highlights the growing popularity of āyurvedic therapies, wellness centers, and health professionals who have adopted this practice. It also examines the potential benefits of this system, as well as the cultural and safety considerations when integrating it into the Mexican healthcare system.
