Abstract

The text brings a critical approach about “Secondary School Reform” and emphasizes that the intermediary level of school and its implementation in Brazil, historically, is right to capitalism’s demands, sometimes as a propaedeutic teaching, sometimes as a technical and preparatory to working market. The text considerates that in both situations, NEM (Secondary School Reform) provides divergences in formation and causes formative fissures that pass by emancipation conception which are advocated by marxian ideas and Critical Theory. Concludes that, as an ideological support, the new educational rearrangement of NEM links to the ways of cultural difusion and represents a rematch of conservatism since always established in Brazilian educative societ, fitting to teachers making essays and reflections with the goal to disclosing strong tools of resistance and imagination.
