Abstract

The article aims to analyze the relationship of the places, ways and actions around of the tell-true in the culture of the care of the self with the field of Education contemporary human. The hypothesis is that such exercise does emerge, on the one hand, the ways in which subjects are committed to relate to truth; on the other hand, investigates the possibilities to affect the experiences with the current truths, starting from the experiences with truth in the field of education. For this purpose, it investigates four figures, according to the interpretation of Foucault, representing in the history of the constitution of the subject, fundamental modalities of experience with the true and tell-true: the prophet, sage, teacher and parrêsiastês. For this analysis, it is intended reach the kind of relationship with the truth closer to the challenges of a culture of the care of self, and see how this conjuncture exerts to the field of Education a critical power and an invitation to transform it.
