Abstract
This paper constitutes the progress of a reaserch on the artistic practices related to hip-hop culture in the city of Rosario, Argentina. I explore the risks of constructing recognizable typifications in the transcription of interactions carried out with several city artists related to hip-hop in the framework of the transmedia cultural project “Poesía plebeya”. This work explores organization of musical events by the artists themselves in Rosario nowadays, through the formulation of a series of questions about the place of experience in academic research and the role of cultural industries in the dissemination and creative appropriation of cultural practices. I suggest a contradictory connection between the use of the voices in these interviews and the aesthetic power of the rhyming words that are drawn from the construction of an artistic self-representation that the pseudonym activates.
